Our brand story begins with our founder, Milka, who had a passion for creating beautiful and unique candles. Miku and Co Canada was born out of a passion for handcrafted candles and a journey of personal struggle and triumph. Founder Miku's story is one of resilience and creativity in the face of adversity. In 2020, Miku found herself in the hospital for two months before giving birth to her son, Jordan. Complications and the pandemic meant that she was isolated from family and friends, leading to depression and anxiety. For 47 days, Miku stayed in her hospital room, struggling to find a way to cope with her situation. This picture was taken in her hospital room. This window was world for her during that time.
